The Royston Creative Heritage Project had strived to find new ways to celebrate the rich and diverse heritage of the Royston area. From community art exhibitions to filmmaking workshops, murals to recipe cards, we have explored so many different ways that we can document the experiences of our community and preserve these for people to enjoy for many years to come.
The Royston Community Archive is the major legacy of this work and we want to keep this open and accessible to the people in the Royston Community and beyond. You can access this on the Community Archive section of this website. So, explore, enjoy and please do let us know your thoughts!
Partnership working has been key to the success of our project and we would like to thank all the individuals, groups and organisations that have been so supportive. Schools, care homes, social groups, development trusts, community centres and many more that have all given so much to make Royston Creative Heritage a success. We appreciate their time, energy and stories that have really brought our project to life.
